What began as an exercise in Photoshop displacement mapping—turned into a hellish-looking experiment gone terribly right. In order to ground a visual that looked something like an exploding hipster into a piece of design that felt practical, I started to look for products or brands that made sense for the creative (usually it goes the other way around).

When I discovered a brand by the name of Crazy Bastard Hotsauce, a punny ad campaign seemed just so crazy, it just might work. After reaching out to Crazy Bastard hot sauce to discuss a partnership, or work for hire to further develop their brand, they actually never called or emailed me back.
